OREGON COAST ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Oregon Coast Engagement photo sessions are our favorite! I knew that Cape Kiwanda would be a perfect setting for Alicia and Brendan’s engagement shoot because it’s one of my favorite destinations and Alicia and Brendan first met at a beach!
Alicia and Brendan discovered us through Instagram and though we don’t market ourselves as “film photographers” they were attracted to our work because of our unique service offering both wedding film photography and wedding videography...which I know only a few others in America offer such a unique service. Brendan and Alicia appreciated that trait because they themselves shoot film.
The trek to Cape Kiwanda
At just over 2 hours from Portland, Cape Kiwanda is the southern headland of the Three Capes Scenic Route, which includes Cape Lookout and Cape Meares. The south side of the cape is really busy during hot summer days since vehicles are allowed on the beach. The north side, however is a different story and our personal favorite area of Cape Kiwanda. It’s less busy and gains access to some amazing tidepools. This is where we took Alicia and Brendan. We caught a beautiful Oregon Coast sunset and captured some great and fun moments during kite flying and tea time which is a significant part of their story because Alicia herself is a tea specialist and owner of Naked Sage Tea.
