Crescent Moon Ranch Sedona & Lover’s Knoll Sedona
When our couples book our Photo + Cinema Collection we gift them an engagement session in either Phoenix, Tucson, or Sedona, Arizona. Jessica and Juven really wanted Sedona engagement photos and we were totally on board! Being new to Arizona ourselves, we love exploring new locations and building our list of beautiful shoot locations. The two locations we chose for their engagement session were Crescent Moon Ranch and Lover’s Knoll.

“It’s no surprise that Crescent Moon Ranch Day Use Park is busy year round. Some of the most beautiful views of Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek can be seen here. The area is easy to access and is close to downtown Sedona, making it an ideal stop between adventures. Many visit the area with their families to take pictures, picnic, and wade in the creek. Photographers frequent the area to capture the beauty of the flowing water and Red Rocks in the distance.” - The Outdoor Project
“Lover's Knoll is an easy-to-access scenic viewpoint that likely got its name because of the beautiful and romantic views of the Sedona Landscape. Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, and many other recognizable Sedona landmarks can be seen from a distance. It is a favorite of many Sedona frequenters. The viewpoint is a pullout from a commonly traveled scenic drive, Red Rock Loop, and can be visited on the way to other hiking and picnic destinations. The pullout for the viewpoint can easily be missed and is dirt, so keep an eye out.” - The Outdoor Project
Sedona AZ Engagement Photos Shot on Medium Format Film:
This collection of Sedona engagement photos was shot using a Canon R5 and a Contax 645 medium format film camera. The film stock we used was a mix of Portra 400 and FUJI 400 120 film and The Find Lab did the developing and scanning.
